Configure to order industrial filters

The locations where dust filters can be placed are rarely the first priority when designing and building production lines. We have therefore cleverly incorporated this into the design of our modular filters, whereby these filters can easily be arranged according to the space available and the direction in which the air is to be extracted and the clean air blown out.

Below is an overview of the extensive possibilities of just all our standard components – where necessary, we are of course also very experienced with custom-engineered solutions. Where possible, a complete ‘configured to order’ industrial filter is of course preferred; the proven techniques prevent surprises, shorten production time and save valuable engineering hours.

Configurations of discharge directions

A typical Pat-Jet Easy access filter has one or more fans placed on the roof. This design makes it very easy to change the discharge direction to any direction.

Shown here are some renders where the filters performed with a single fan with silencer, seen from a top view. It can clearly be seen that with the same components it is possible to blow in different directions. By configuring instead of engineering, we can have our designs ready for production quickly and accurately, without expensive development costs.

Blowing out at an angle is also possible, shifts of 30 degrees are possible without adjustments to the design. Other angles are of course also possible, however, these must be specified in advance.

Position and angle of the fan is easy to change.

Relative to the intake, access to the filter cartridges is easily determined.

Configurations intake directions

On the Pat-Jet Easy Access filters, the filter cartridges can be replaced on one side. The render on the right shows two open doors where the filter cartridges can be replaced.

The direction of where the air is sucked in relative to these doors can be easily determined and chosen due to the modular design. An intake duct is also mounted on the mounted intake box with integrated baffle plate here for illustrative purposes.

Configurations valve control and pressure gauge

Finally, the location of the valve controller, compressed air pressure regulator and pressure gauge is determined. The valve controller controls pulse cleaning based on time or measured pressure drop across the filter cartridges.

These parts should be accessible for adjusting filter cleaning. Here, the pressure of the compressed air blasts can be adjusted, the interval at which pulse cleaning takes place, and the pressure drop across the filter cartridges can be read to determine the fouling of the cartridges.

The location of these controls is typically on one of the remaining free sides of the filter. Placing these controls on the side of the intake duct or inspection windows is possible in exceptional cases, but undesirable.

Possible locations of the control box after the suction direction, location of the doors and discharge direction have been determined.

So, hopefully YOU now have a good idea how quick and easy it is to configure a filter to different circumstances!
