For specific applications, Naaykens also uses bag filters. Especially in challenging situations and at higher temperatures, these filters often provide an excellent solution. The simpler and more robust operation of this filter type offers reliable performance for difficult-to-filter dust flows.
For dust that is fibrous or sticky, cartridge filters are prone to clogging. The fibrous or adhesive dust accumulates in the pleats, significantly reducing the effective filtration capacity. A traditional bag filter is a good alternative here, as filter bags have no pleats and are therefore less sensitive to clogging.
For such applications, Naaykens produces the Cobra-Jet compressed air cleaned bag filters, in which the filter bags can be exchanged from the top side of the unit using support cages.
