On 1 August 1945, Theo Naaykens founds the family business Naaykens’ Luchttechnische Apparatenbouw B.V., a company focusing on the production and sales of extractors for the textile and wood industry.

In the late 1950s, the company from Tilburg obtains a license from Chicago Blower in the United States for the production of centrifugal fans.

From the early 1960s, centrifugal fans make up roughly 50% of our production.

Geert, Theo’s oldest son, takes the helm in 1974. His youngest son Pieter joins the family business in 1978.

In the following decades, Naaykens’ Luchttechnische Apparatenbouw and its subsidiary Straaltechniek become an internationally operating network of production and trade companies, located in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Slovakia and the UK.

2015 brings the next generation, with the introduction of Geert’s son Geert-Jan.
